Development team for Convoke’s multi-tenant, SaaS application that provides secure business-to-business document management, including document storage, document delivery, document workflow management and document auditing. The primary technologies are Java, Spring, HDiv and Hibernate running on Apache Tomcat; and Microsoft SQL Server as the database.

Software Engineering – expertise in Java development; database development on MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server; spring and hibernate framework; spring batch/spring integration; and system integration and batch processing.
Preferred knowledge: Tomcat and Apache in both Linux and Windows environments; AJAX, JSON, JQuery, Javascript and related UI technologies.

Quality Assurance – expertise in all aspects of testing (functional, integration, performance and regression); developing test plans, test cases and test scenarios; defect management; Agile software development methods; and relational database concepts.
Preferred knowledge: Tomcat and Apache; Shell scripting and PowerShell; automated functional testing tools: QTP and HPQC; issue and project tracking tool: Atlassian JIRA; and software versioning tools: Subversion and/or GIT.

Information Systems & Security

Responsible for securing, growing and maintaining a network of servers, storage, and systems spanning multiple datacenters that support Convoke’s cloud-based document management system. The team is broken up into three focus areas:

Platform Operations – plan deploy, and administer typical server systems (e.g. database, email, file servers), as well as front-of-the-house application servers (web servers, application servers, multi-factor authentication, etc.) and back-of-the-house management servers (logging, antivirus, proxy, etc.). Platform Ops team members regularly work on a wide array of common I.T. tasks such as: deploying new servers and virtual machines, handling break/fix and helpdesk issues, and building various software development environments (e.g. QA, development, staging, UAT, etc.).
Ideal Platform Operations team members are people who like solving problems, helping others with their problems, and finding clever software-oriented solutions to common I.T. issues.

Infrastructure – responsible for the physical server and network environment. More specifically, the Infrastructure team manages the host, storage and network systems that sustain Convoke’s private-cloud virtualization environment. Typical projects include: deploying new blade server systems, expanding SAN and NAS environments, and upgrading firewall, IPS, NAC, switch, and router gear. Daily tasks include patching servers, updating firewall rules and IPS signatures, and adding/reorganizing physical hardware in the datacenter environments.
Ideal Infrastructure team members are builders and engineers who like to experiment with new designs and first-class hardware, always looking to “build a better mousetrap.”

Security & Compliance – responsible for reviewing public and internal security standards, making policy and procedure recommendations, and ensuring employees are meeting compliance objectives. Security and Compliance team members respond to customer audit requests, collect audit evidence, monitoring security logs and reports, and check up on daily, monthly, quarterly and annual compliance goals.
Ideal Security and Compliance team members are excellent detectives with excellent communication skills who thrive on order, accuracy, and attention to detail.


Product Support and Customer Service team that provides training; phone/e-mail support; product and SOP documentation; customer report preparation and data analysis; service level agreement monitoring; product testing; and customer relationship/feedback mechanisms.
Preferred knowledge: Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Finance, Accounting, & Administration

Performs all accounting, treasury, financial planning, human resources, and office administration duties.
Qualifications include knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and Word).
