Convoke, a leading SAAS technology provider in the Financial Oversight and Compliance market, is looking for a Systems Administrator to join its growing Infrastructure Team. Convoke secures business-to-business data and document exchange through a multi-tenant, SaaS application that provides durable storage, secure delivery, workflow management, and a comprehensive auditing platform. As part of the company’s Engineering team, reporting to the Infrastructure Team Lead, you will deploy and maintain server and client systems throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
This position is focused on deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting both server and client systems. You’ll work with engineers, developers, and operations team members to develop maintenance plans for a wide array of application and backoffice systems running Linux and Windows. You’ll provision and troubleshoot client PCs and laptops running MacOS and Windows, including assisting with user authentication, printing, file management, VPN, and network connectivity challenges. While performing the duties of System Administrator, you’ll work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams and have the opportunity to learn new skills in systems engineering and architecture.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on technical computer/network experience in systems administration or helpdesk support
Expert in triaging connectivity, boot, storage, printing, and authentication challenges
Experience working in a service-focus environment where accuracy and timeliness are important
Experience managing systems in a virtualized and/or containerized environment
Experience deploying and managing systems in mixed-OS environments
Experience reading, debugging, and editing PowerShell and BASH scripts

Experience working in audited environments with encrypted data and strong security controls and governance
Experience with products, applications, and tools that handle large volumes of transactional data
