Convoke, a leading SAAS technology provider in the Financial Oversight and Compliance market, is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join its growing Engineering Team. Convoke secures business-to-business data and document exchange through a multi-tenant, SaaS application that provides durable storage, secure delivery, workflow management, and a comprehensive auditing platform. As part of the company’s Engineering team, reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, you will be responsible for developing of test procedures, frameworks, tooling, and pipelines supporting Agile development teams to deliver projects in time and quality.
Responsibilities
This position is focused on designing and implementing new testing systems and procedures for web applications and services built with Java and JavaScript. You’ll design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that accelerate the integration and deployment of new products and features within Convoke’s SAAS platform. You’ll collaborate with architects, testers, and engineers to create test plans which ensure the delivery of high-quality features and products.
Requirements
7+ years of experience developing tools, services, and components using Java or JavaScript
5+ years of experience with automated test frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress
5+ years of experience delivering software with modern CI/CD pipeline tools
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and able to understand and develop Transact-SQL
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), or similar methodologies
Passionate about modern technologies and practices and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with weekly releases

Experience with related technologies such as: DevOps tools, Containerization, NGINX, and Kafka
Experience working in audited environments with encrypted data and strong security controls and governance
Experience with products, applications, and tools that handle large volumes of transactional data
