Senior Software Developer
Convoke is looking for a Senior Software Developer to be a core member of its Engineering team. Convoke secures business-to-business exchange of data and documents through a multi-tenant, SaaS application that provides a secure storage, delivery, work flow management, and auditing platform. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for the design and full stack implementation of features and functionality consistent with overall product priorities end to end, including unit, integration, and system testing. Our primary technologies are Java, Spring, JavaScript and Hibernate running on Tomcat and SQL Server Databases. Code development takes place in small-team, agile-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Design new and existing products and translate business requirements into functional code
- Perform hands-on development and testing of existing features, new enhancements and new products
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps, to ensure delivery of high value, high quality products
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Java and JavaScript development
- 5+ Experience with database development
- Demonstrated experience from Spring and Hibernate frameworks
- Passionate about modern technologies and practices
- Quantitative mindset; using empirical data to support decisions
- 4-year technical degree from an accredited university (waived with sufficient work experience)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and can pass a detailed background check

- Experience with React and Node.js
- Experience with Spring Batch/Spring Integration
- Experience with RESTful APIs, XML, WSDL, Tomcat, Apache, and Nginx
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
